What is your position at Zennify?
I am the CEO & Co-Founder of Zennify.
How long have you been working with Zennify?
Since the beginning, circa 2013.
What does your average day look like?
After some morning yoga and meditation, I like to start the workday with early momentum – something to jump start the Zenn.
We start every week with an operations meeting where the leaders collaborate on top customer highlights – it helps us get our focus.
From there the day follows the ebb and flow between discussions clients, our people, and Salesforce – embracing the here and now to stay close to the business and foster relationships. At times we lift up a level to engage in the creative and strategic, looking ahead and challenging ourselves to sustain our competitive edge.
I love to finish the day with a long run to clear my head before spending the evening with my amazing family.
What motivates you at work?
Client success – nothing is more motivating than getting praise from our clients for a job well done. It’s also a real joy watching our people grow and fly – it makes me proud that we’ve built an amazing place to work and a culture that fosters growth and innovation.
What is your favorite work perk?
The Zennify branding and swag is legit. People must think it’s the only wardrobe I have as I wear it everyday!
What is your favorite part of your role?
There is a special moment in the world of Zennify consulting during a client discovery where our professionals (architects, consultants, etc) truly capture and articulate the essence of what our client needs to breakthrough – there is like this crazy positive energy in the room that is addictive, I wish I could bottle it up.
What do you enjoy most about working for Zennify?
I really enjoy having everyday conversations with our people. We’ve been fortunate and blessed with amazing talent at all levels of the firm – I think we have the best consulting team/firm on the planet – that’s real talk.
What’s one piece of advice you would give someone considering a career in your role?
Do it for the love first – the innovation, the solution, customer success, your people. Everything else should balance out accordingly – that’s the true ZENN.
