What is your position at Zennify and what do you do?
I am a Solution Architect at Zennify. I strive to create value for organizations by optimizing their business processes and automating where it makes sense in order to maximize efficiency.
How long have you been working with Zennify?
I have worked at Zennify since August 2018. Solution Architect is the only role I have held at Zennify, but I grew into this role over the course of several years, working for other companies, studying, completing Trailhead modules, and taking certification exams.
What does your average day look like?
Currently, I have daily standup meetings with a couple different companies to discuss progress on their solutions. I work with some fantastic Business Analysts and Consultants that identify business requirements, and it is usually my job to figure out the best way to fulfill those requirements using the many flexible tools on the Salesforce platform. Generally speaking, we strive to optimize the user experience, and build the solutions in a manner that the client will be able to maintain them long-term. I really enjoy building the solutions, and learning new and better ways of automating processes, notifying clients, and giving them the real-time reporting and functionality they need to get their jobs done as efficiently as possible.
What motivates you at work?
Creating value for organizations. I see purpose in my contributions, and that brings me great satisfaction
What is your favorite work perk?
The awesome commute! Since I work remotely, my office is in my home, and I don’t worry about traffic or weather on a daily basis. It allows me to focus on being productive.
What is your favorite part of your role?
Working with the other great people at Zennify to provide truly amazing solutions for our clients. I also really love working with multiple clients, and helping to solve a variety of use cases in different companies and industries.
What do you enjoy most about working for Zennify?
Zennify is a great place to work because they really understand that if they keep the employees happy, the employees will keep the clients happy: everybody wins! I have the freedom to do my job without being micromanaged, and I get the opportunity of working with people at the top of their game.
What’s one piece of advice you would give someone considering a career in your role?
Try to learn something new everyday. The Salesforce ecosystem is massive, and continually evolving. Becoming a Salesforce Architect is not possible without a strong commitment to ongoing learning, but it is totally worth it. Go For It!! I love being a Salesforce Solution Architect, and someday hope to become a Certified Technical Architect.
