Day In The Life: Talent Acquisition Lead

What is your position at Zennify and what do you do?

I’m the Talent Acquisition Lead here at Zennify and each day I get to work with exceptionally talented folks in the Salesforce eco-system and match potential candidates to our Zennify positions and culture.

How long have you been working with Zennify?

I just celebrated my first year anniversary in July!

What does your average day look like?

My average day includes leading candidates and hiring managers through the interview process, as well collaborating with our executives on strategic growth plans.

What motivates you at work?

We have an extraordinary culture here and I’m motivated by the folks around me. We’re extremely committed to bring our A-Game every single day and they inspire me to be the best I can be!

What is your favorite work perk?

I can’t pick just one perk! Unlimited PTO and flex time as needed, 30% or less travel per year, the learning and skills development opportunities, the annual get togethers with our employees, and the camaraderie we have with each other – these are priceless perks!

What is your favorite part of your role?

The favorite aspect of my job is watching all of our employees succeed and grow in their positions and advance their skill sets. I watch them make an impact on the organization and our clients, while building their careers with us. They often are promoted and become my hiring managers and then I get to build their teams. It’s rewarding to see folks advance their career and it all started with a discovery candidate call!

What do you enjoy most about working for Zennify?

I enjoy working for a company that has strong leaders, a focus on nurturing talent, and a commitment to high performance.

What’s one piece of advice you would give someone considering a career in your role?

Being a Recruiter here at Zennify plays a big part of contributing to our success and our client’s success. The right hire is crucial for delivering solutions to our customers, and being a collaborative member our team helps get that done, and done well.

Getting to know the hiring manager and company needs is just as important as learning the candidate’s interests, skills, and long term goals. As Recruiters, we need to put the right person in the right role, heading in the right direction in their career. It’s the best method to make the match. Take the time to do the due diligence on both sides of the hiring process and find the win/win for both candidates and the company.
