Day in the life of a Developer
Gilfoy starts her day in the mornings, checking her Jira board to see if there’s anything that needs immediate attention. She then works closely with a Zennify Solution Architect on her current project to develop stories and test anything that’s been assigned to her. Gilfoy says she spends a lot of time communicating with clients to make sure everyone is on the same page and that expectations and timelines are aligned.
Growing with Zennify
Gilfoy joined Zennify during a big growth period at the company and stated that, “I am so glad that I am part of Zennify! I can’t wait to see how much I can grow!” Since joining, Gilfoy said that she’s been able to work alongside other talented developers and has continued to evolve her skill set to better help solve client goals.
When asked about her favorite part of working for Zennify, Gilfoy said, “The solid leadership, the people, and the encouragement to advance my skills.”
Advice from the inside
When it comes to advice, Gilfoy’s number one tip can be applied to both your personal and professional life, “Learn from everything and everyone. A mistake is a great opportunity to learn. Don’t get discouraged and don’t be afraid to ask for help.”
