Making Our Mark on the Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Companies

We’re on the list.

Not just any old list. We’re thrilled to announce that Zennify has been named to the 2019 Inc. 5000, the magazine’s annual ranking of the fastest-growing privately held companies in the United States. Thanks to our rapid growth in recent years, we’ve earned ourselves a spot at number 632 on the roster.

And we’re in good company. Hailed as “the most successful companies in America,” this year’s honorees logged a staggering average three-year growth rate of 454 percent, an aggregate 2018 revenue of $237.7 billion USD and have accounted for 1,216,308 jobs over the past three years.

According to Inc. Editor in Chief James Ledbetter, “The companies on this year’s Inc. 5000 have followed so many different paths to success. There’s no single course you can follow or investment you can take that will guarantee this kind of spectacular growth. But what they have in common is persistence and seizing opportunities.”

Since 1982, the annual Inc. 5000 list has recognized the extraordinary journeys of the fastest-growing companies in our economy’s dynamic small business sector. In fact, Microsoft, Dell, Domino’s Pizza, Pandora, Timberland, LinkedIn, Yelp, Zillow and many other household names first gained national exposure as honorees on the Inc. 5000.

“The Inc. 5000 represents nearly 40 years of true American growth stories, and we’re honored to be among them,” says Manvir Sandhu, Zennify’s CEO. “Our company was formed from a simple inspiration: the desire to do more. Seeing our name on this list tells me that we’re doing more than we ever dreamed—with more to come.”

Founded in 2013 in Meridian, Idaho, Zennify got its start when a group of coworkers at Hewlett-Packard implemented an internal Salesforce CRM solution and fell in love with the platform. Coming together at Zennify gave them an outlet to use the skills they had acquired to build high-touch customer engagement solutions, solve real-world business problems—and see projects through to fruition.

Nathan Mueller, our President and founder recalls, “We saw the massive wave that Salesforce was creating in the market, and also the significant shortage in companies and experts to actually implement the technology. We had the right skills and experience, and I knew that we would care more, work harder and fight harder for our customers than any other implementation partner out there. We did the math and it was clear: the opportunity was real.”

And it would seem he was right. Since those early days, Zennify’s ranks have grown to 81 full-time employees, and the company has demonstrated stupendous growth, outpacing even the Inc. 5000 average with an astounding 3-year growth of 698 percent.

“Some feel that doing the right thing for your customers translates into slower business growth. I think our numbers prove that’s simply untrue,” notes Sandhu. “And in the long run, a customer-centric business model is the only sustainable one.”

But no matter how fast we’ve grown, Zennify’s leaders haven’t lost sight of those that got us where we are today: our employees. They are deeply committed to fostering an environment in which team members feel valued, inspired and empowered—a workplace built on professional development, equality and community service.

“Zennify’s currency has always been sincerity and delivering on promises to both customers and employees,” says Mueller. “Creating opportunities for our team members, and watching them seize and run with them—buying first homes, starting charity initiatives and more—will always be a point of pride. One of our greatest accomplishments is that as our company has grown, so to have our people.”
